Pam was born in California on October 2, 1956. She had various jobs along the way and started work with the Oklahoma State Department of Education in 1997. The same year she met Gerald in Oklahoma City and they married in 1999.
Pam was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in February 2015. As expected, the decline would plateau, then decline until December 2022 when I decided hospice care was best.
Gerald
Gerald was also born in California on November 12, 1966. He was born the son of a sharecropper and spent the days of his youth eating lead paint chips and skipping school until his family moved to Oklahoma in the Witnter of 1974.
He's held many jobs in his illustrious career: retail sales associate, print media distribution engineer, mainframe programmer and software tester. He spent the last seven years caring for Pam and the cats.
Bob
Bob was our first cat in our current apartment. She was five years old when she passed due to severe seizures which were hard to control. Before she became ill, she was a typical cat - biting our toes at night, getting out of the apartment and crapping on the neighbors doorstep and being a lovable cat. She passed April 2021.
Trixie
Trixie, Trixie, Trixie. Another typical cat. Slept with Pam for a while and then cuddled up next to me. Loves escaping the apartment to go walk by herself up and down the hall. Fortunately doesn't leave any presents for the neighbors. Uses the furniture instead of her scratching post. Jumps on top of the bookcase. hides in cabinets and loves throwing all the towels out of the linen closet so she has plenty of room . Loves kisses and head butts.
